Group ABA therapy provides structured opportunities for individuals to develop and practice important social, communication, and cooperative skills with peers. These sessions are led by trained behavior technicians and supervised by a BCBA, using evidence-based ABA strategies within a supportive group environment.
Group sessions often focus on skills such as turn-taking, conversation, cooperative play, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and following group instructions. Practicing these skills with peers allows participants to develop social confidence and learn how to navigate real-world interactions.
Activities are carefully structured to encourage engagement, reinforce positive behaviors, and support each participant’s individual learning goals. Group therapy can be especially helpful for promoting social development and generalizing skills learned in individual therapy.
